Mean, Green, Bad-Breath-Fighting Treats |
Yields 28 1-inch balls
1/3 cup
chopped mint, peppermint, and Lemon balm
1/2 cup
chopped parsley
1/2 cup
Applesauce
2 Eggs
3 tbs
coconut oil
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
dried ginger
1/2 cup
Quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup
cake flour
1/2 cup
wheat flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
Spirulina powder
Preheat
your oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
Finely
chop the herbs, measure, and place in a mixing bowl. Next, add applesauce,
eggs, and coconut oil then mix to combine. Add remaining dry ingredients and
mix until everything is incorporated and comes together.
Drop by
tablespoon (or cookie scoop) onto parchment-lined cookie sheets leaving 1 inch
between balls and bake for approximately 12 minutes rotating pans about halfway
through the cooking process. When done, the treats will be firm to the touch
but still slightly yielding and lightly golden on bottom.
